SEO MCP · Search Console for agents
An SEO MCP server that reads your rankings and ships the fix
Blogizi gives your AI agent one MCP server for the whole content loop: get_search_performance reads your Google Search Console data, and draft_post and update_post publish the changes to your blog. Connect Google with one click. No Google Cloud project, no service account.
Works with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Codex, Cursor and any MCP client over Streamable HTTP. Same account API key you publish with.

Blogizi vs self-hosted Search Console MCP servers
| Topic | Self-hosted GSC MCP | Blogizi |
|---|---|---|
| Google setup | Cloud project, enable API, OAuth client or service account JSON | One OAuth click in the dashboard |
| Where it runs | Local process (uvx, npx, a binary) | Hosted at blogizi.com/api/mcp |
| Works in sandboxed or cloud agents | Usually not | Yes |
| Data depth | Full Search Analytics API, filters, often URL Inspection | Top 25 queries and pages, totals, 7/28/90 days, cached |
| Can publish the fix | No | Yes: draft_post, update_post, publish_post |
| Cost | Free (your time) | Included in Blogizi, from $9/mo |
| Best for | Deep audits across many properties | A product blog where the agent writes and you review |
If you need every row, country and device filters, or URL Inspection, use an open-source server. Blogizi is for the read → rewrite → publish loop on your own blog.
What your agent can do with it
- Find the posts Google is testing. Pull the top queries and pages for the last 7, 28 or 90 days, with clicks, impressions, CTR and position.
- Spot the easy wins. High impressions with low CTR means the title and meta description need work. Positions 8–20 mean the post is close to page one and needs depth or internal links.
- Ship the change. The agent edits the markdown and runs
update_post, so the fix lands on your blog. Keep it as a draft to review, or publish directly. - Check next week. Same tool, same prompt. Compare the numbers after Google recrawls.
Workflow
Example session
You: Check last 28 days of search performance for my blog. Find pages with
>200 impressions and CTR under 1%, and rewrite their titles and
descriptions. Save the changes as drafts.
Claude → get_search_performance({ days: 28 })
Claude: 3 pages match. /blog/yaml-frontmatter-explained has 423 impressions,
1.2% CTR, position 10.3; top query "what is yaml frontmatter"…
Claude → update_post({ slug: "yaml-frontmatter-explained", title: "…",
description: "…", status: "draft" })Setup
Setup in three steps
- Connect Google under Dashboard → Account (read-only scope).
- In your project's Search tab, pick the Search Console property: your blog's URL or your whole
sc-domain:. - Add the MCP server to your agent:

What is an SEO MCP server?
An MCP server that gives AI agents tools for SEO data or SEO actions. Blogizi's covers both halves for a blog: Search Console performance data in, published posts out.
Do I need a Google Cloud project?
No. Blogizi handles the Google OAuth app. You approve read-only access to Search Console once.
Which data does the agent get?
Totals (clicks, impressions, CTR, average position) plus the top 25 queries and top 25 pages for 7, 28 or 90 days. Data syncs daily and lags Google by 2–3 days.
Can it inspect URLs or request indexing?
No. Blogizi reads Search Analytics only. Use Search Console or a self-hosted server for URL Inspection.
Does it work with ChatGPT or Cursor?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with a bearer token works. The CLI and REST API cover the rest.
Is my Google data shared?
Blogizi stores cached Search Analytics snapshots for your project only, behind your account API key. Disconnect Google at any time from the dashboard.
